Edwards proudly declares that any of the team members at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Kentucky would be great additions to his team's pit crew. Like a pit crew, they operate quickly, and efficiently, and in complete synchrony. They have to be efficient, if they're going to produce a new Toyota vehicle every 54 seconds.
Yeah, less than a minute in between new Toyotas. That's close timing. Everyone has to be on their game.
We suspect Edwards enjoyed his visit to Toyota Racing Development (TRD) the most. Everyone he met there lived for racing, from designing parts, to making them, to testing and analyzing what they've created for optimal performance. His many wins in his Toyota Camry are the proof in the pudding.
