The New Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid Has Arrived

The Toyota lineup recently launched a new SUV called the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid. The Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid looks similar to the Toyota Highlander but offers more space than its counterpart. The Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid can come with a few different engine systems, all of which are quite powerful, and it offers high-tech equipment and useful safety programs.

Trim Levels

At our local Toyota dealership in Waterford, MI, we carry four trims of the new Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid. These four trim levels use electric systems in addition to their engines. You can choose from the Hybrid XLE, Hybrid Limited, Hybrid MAX Limited, and Hybrid MAX Platinum.

Interior Design

Many of our customers have been attracted to the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid because of its cabin size. It can fit up to eight people, offering almost 40 inches of second-row legroom and nearly 34 inches of third-row legroom. Folding down the rear seats will produce 97.5 cubic feet of cargo capacity. Some trim levels stand out with their 20-inch wheels and black exterior accents. Fortunately, every trim level of the new Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid comes standard with heated power outside mirrors, roof rails, and windshield wiper de-icers. LED headlights and taillights are standard, too, and you have the option to get LED fog lights with certain models. Additionally, some new SUVs have power panoramic moonroofs that let in plenty of natural light and sunshine.

Performance

When it comes to performance, the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid does very well. Consider getting all-wheel drive if you'd like to take advantage of enhanced traction when the roads are otherwise hard to grip. Also, be sure to utilize the Multi-Terrain Select program. The Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid can adjust its performance according to the conditions through this program. Available drive modes include Mud and Sand, Rock and Dirt, Eco, and Sport. The Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid has EV modes that can help you maximize efficiency. A new Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid can come with multiple engine options. The hybrid system is ideal if you prefer to drive something more efficient. With this system, you'd have a 2.5-liter engine and an electric component that work together to make 245 horsepower. The last option is a Hybrid MAX powertrain that will give you 362 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Either option offers plenty of power for your travels around Rochester, Michigan, and beyond.
