For today's blog post, we have a bit of slightly unconventional news. This weekend, at Irwindale Speedway in California, drivers will face off for the final race of the Formula DRIFT season. What makes this particularly exciting is that, heading into the finale, Scion vehicles hold the top two spots. Fredric Aasbo, driver of a tC leads the field in first, while FR-S driver Ken Gushi sits in second place. Bolstered by strong performances all season, Scion Racing has already won its second strait Manufacturer's Cup.
According to leader, Gushi, "The momentum is definitely on our side. All season the FR-S has performed at optimal levels, and I'm hoping Fredric and I will be standing next to one another on the podium."
