Toyota's 2015 Environmental Report is Out, and Water Conservation is On Target

According to research by the 2030 Water Resources Group, by the year 2030, demand for fresh water will be 40% greater than our supply.

That means spiking water prices, industries interrupted, and most importantly, human lives impacted by lack of potable water.

Toyota feels a deep corporate responsibility, then, to help reduce that supply gap, and protect our fresh water resources.

In this recent video, Toyota Logistics Service, Inc.'s Production Supervisor goes over some of Toyota's efforts to conserve water, which has kept them on-target for their conservation goals.

Toyota Announces Updated Technology for Newest Prius

In a recent press release, it was revealed that the upcoming 2016 Prius will come with exciting new improvements to the engine that will allow it to achieve "the highest fuel economy of any vehicle without a plug. Toyota's famous hybrid will feature a 1.8-liter VVT-I engine, capable of 40 percent thermal efficiency; an unprecedented figure. Scion Racing Gears Up for DRIFT Season Finale
